Welcome to Heaton House Nursery

At Heaton House, we aim to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment in which the children feels secure. Children are encouraged to grow in confidence and be inspired to learn.

Our nursery is housed in a renovated Victorian home that combines the character of it's original era with all the safety and convenience of most modern buildings inside and out.

We currently provide 40 places for children between the ages of 0 and 5 and are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Our staff have many years experience of teaching and childcare. With three Early Years Teachers and twelve Level three staff members we really do have a wealth of knowledge.

Heaton House Nurser is registered with Ofsted and are recognised as delivering a well planned educational provision.

This morning Peter and his lovely Guide Dog, Benny visited our nursery to talk to us about the important job of Guide Dogs and living without sight.

Pre-school were very impressed with Benny's skills and how well he sat during the talk. They were so inquisitive we've decided to arrange a trip to the Guide Dog Training Centre to find out more about how Guide Dogs are trained. A huge Thank you to Peter and Benny for being our special guests - we really enjoyed it :-)
