Welcome to Heaton House Nursery

At Heaton House, we aim to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment in which the children feels secure. Children are encouraged to grow in confidence and be inspired to learn.

Our nursery is housed in a renovated Victorian home that combines the character of it's original era with all the safety and convenience of most modern buildings inside and out.

We currently provide 40 places for children between the ages of 0 and 5 and are open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Our staff have many years experience of teaching and childcare. With three Early Years Teachers and twelve Level three staff members we really do have a wealth of knowledge.

Heaton House Nurser is registered with Ofsted and are recognised as delivering a well planned educational provision.

We've been absolutely overwhelmed by the emails, posts and comments from our parents/carers about our new learning environment. We're continuing to develop both the new classroom and the main nursery to make sure we're always offering an environment that promotes wellbeing and positive learning experiences for all children. We have a lot planned for the New Year so watch this space.....we're very excited!

A huge thank you to our team who have worked hard helping make this all happen - we're very lucky to have you all :-)

During December, as part of our Music in the Community Project, we took our pre-school children to Kingsbury Court Retirement Home. Along with John and Wendy from 'Shake, Rattle and Roll' we enjoyed a music session with the residents dancing and shaking to the music. We had a really lovely time getting to know the residents and we'll be back soon to do it all again. A huge thank you again to the Residents of Kingsbury Court and to our parents/ grandparents who helped out on the day! ... See MoreSee Less

Today has been a very special day at Heaton House. Our pre-school children got to explore their new classroom.

We only planned a short visit to familairise our children with their new classroom however pre-school just didn't want to leave so we took the children's lead and spent the whole day enjoying our new surroundings! It's been really fantastic hearing and seeing the children in their play and we can't wait to develop the classroom further :-)
