Our Employee of the Month: September 2017

Employee of the Month: Lyndsay Jackson Lyndsay has recently returned from maternity leave and works as the group leader, alongside Leanne Riley, within the Tiddler’s group. We recently received a lovely email from one of our parents regarding Lyndsay. The parent explained how well Lyndsay had returned back into her role, making lovely bonds with the children, always being friendly, with lovely feedback about their child’s day. Play is pivotal to children’s learning. Play provides a fun, stimulating experience that engages children and helps embed learning. Our Eid Celebrations – June 2017

It’s been a week of celebrations at Heaton House sharing the experiences of some of our children during the festival of Eid. To celebrate Eid we tried some traditional dishes and dressed up in traditional clothing. After designing our own henna patterns this week, the children had the chance to have their very own henna pattern drawn on their hand. All throughout June we’ve been learning all about the Muslim festival of Ramadan. The children have had special visitors to tell them all about the holy month.
